Test Dept return to Germany with some special events to mark the 25th Anniversary of WGT in Leipzig. Opening with Total State Machine the exhibition at KUB Gallery, Thursday 12th May they will display original posters, artwork, manifestos and video installations charting the history of the group since its formation in 1981.
On Saturday 14th May there will be a Total State Machine book launch with a discussion and Q & A with Test Dept founder members Graham Cunnington and Paul Jamrozy, along with Peter Webb from publishers PC Press, and underground music scholar Alexander Pehlemann, hosted by cultural theorist Alexander Nym.
During the exhibition there will be special screenings of the TD film ‘DS30’ commissioned by the AV Festival in Newcastle to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Miners’ Strike in Britain.

Admission to both the exhibition and the event is FREE.
